We are looking for an excellent teacher of Computer Science to join our talented team of 6th form teachers at Ada.

Whilst the successful candidate will have strong academic credentials, you may already have a proven record of outstanding teaching, or be new to the profession, in which case they would be supported by the college’s thorough mentoring programme.

A vital qualification will be that you share the vision of the college to deliver our core computing curriculum in an innovative and engaging way that embodies the beliefs and values of the College; to put real world industry involvement at the heart of our curriculum.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

You will work closely with other teachers in an experienced Computer Science team to develop high quality content and deliver excellent lessons. For experienced practitioners, there may be opportunities for you to lead on elements of the course suited to your individual expertise.

At Ada, you will work in an agile and fast-paced environment with an aspirational group of teachers and students who are super passionate about computing and digital skills. Our ambition is to grow our student volumes as our reputation grows while maintaining the high quality and unique nature of our cohort.

There may also be opportunities to teach across the 6th form and HE phases for suitable candidates.

Additional Information

All 6th form students complete a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Computer Science, and may pick one or more additional subjects to study alongside this qualification. The options we offer allow students to study subjects that will equip them for a range of roles available within the digital sector.
