Impact

Ada has been working since 2016 to bridge the gap between education and aspirational tech-focused jobs, particularly for students from under-represented backgrounds.

10 Years of Ada: The Alumni Impact Report

We know the Ada model works:

– 90% of our alumni are in education, employment, or training

– 83% are in full-time work and earn at or above local thriving wage levels

– 60% earn above the median UK graduate salary (£38,800)

Crucially, students from the most deprived areas achieve the same pay as their peers, closing the national class pay gap and proving that background is no barrier to success.

Sixth Form

In 2025/26, learners achieved a 100% pass rate across Ada’s BTEC, A Level and T Level courses.

Our Computing results are consistently above national benchmarks. A-Level Maths students achieved more than a grade higher on average than their peers nationally from the same starting points. This puts Ada in the top 0.5% of schools and colleges.

An impressive 88% of our first full graduating cohort of 17 T Level students earned a Merit or higher, with 35% achieving a Distinction or Distinction*. Notably, this includes one student achieving a rare Distinction*, equivalent to A*-A*-A* at A-Level, which preliminary Department for Education figures suggest may be the only one awarded nationally this year. Progression for these graduates has been equally exceptional, with seven students already confirming Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships, including six highly competitive positions secured at Amazon.

70% of sixth form students continue into higher education and >90% continue their studies in digital-related courses.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeship achievement rates consistently top 80% – well above the national average for similar programmes.

A significant majority of our apprentices (over 70%) achieve Merits or Distinctions in their End Point Assessment proving they are performing at the highest level of industry standards. Beyond the apprenticeship standard, our learners demonstrate academic excellence in their final BSc degree outcomes. Our apprentices consistently achieve first-class degree classifications, mirroring their professional success in the workplace.

92% of our apprentices also report that our programme has had a direct positive impact on their career trajectory. Our 2024 data found that 67% of graduating apprentices were on £38,500+
